Katrina Kaif's team has denied the rumours of the actress's engagement with rumoured boyfriend Vicky Kaushal. Earlier today, the news of their relationship going to the next level surfaced on the Internet. According to the rumours, the couple will soon have a roka ceremony, preceded by an engagement. The fans of both the actors started reacting to the news and now, Katrina's team has clarified that the reports are false.

Recently, Harshvardhan Kapoor on Zoom's By Invite Only revealed that the relationship rumour about Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif is true. And today (August 18), social media was abuzz with the news of Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal's engagement. However, the actress's team has clarified that there is no truth the rumours. Some news portals on social media claimed that the actors are going to have their roka ceremony soon, which was supposed to be followed by an engagement.

WHEN KATRINA AND VICKY WERE SNAPPED AT SHERSHAAH SCREENING

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal met for the first time on the sets of a talk show. Later, according to reports, the two started dating after meeting for a couple of times. They were often spotted together on various occasions. Recently, they were spotted together at the screening of Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani's Shershaah. However, they didn't step out together after the film was over. While Vicky came out of the theatre first, Katrina waited for her sister Isabella Kaif before stepping out.

On the work front, Vicky Kaushal will be seen next in Aditya Dhar's The Immortal Ashwatthama. The actor has worked with Aditya in the National Award-winning film, Uri: The Surgical Strike. Apart from this, Vicky also has Sardar Udham Singh, Sam Bahadur, The Great Indian Family and Mr Lele in the pipeline.

Katrina, on the other hand, will be seen in the new project, Jee Lee Zara, with Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt. The film will be directed by Farhan Akhtar. She is also shooting for Tiger 3.

Just days after Rhea Kapoor and Karan Boolani's wedding took place, the newlywed bride, her sister Sonam Kapoor, and her cousins Arjun Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor reunited at their cousin Mohit Marwah's wife Antara Motiwala Marwah’s baby shower.

Antara Motiwala Marwah, who is also the niece of Tina Ambani, is expecting her first baby with Mohit Marwah. The couple tied the knot in February 2018, in the UAE.

In several pictures from the baby shower shared online, the Kapoor family members decked up in traditional outfits. While Sonam opted for a light pink kurta with a matching dupatta, Rhea dressed in a baby blue outfit. Khushi, Shanaya and Anshula Kapoor wore blue, lemon yellow and bright pink lehengas respectively.

Rhea's husband Karan Boolani, Shanaya's brother Jahaan, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and Sonam's husband Anand Ahuja weren't present at the ceremony.

Shanaya shared a number of pictures from the function, including one featuring all the siblings, on her Instagram account and wrote, "happy (heart, rainbow, sun and loved up emojis) missing @aashitarelan16 @karanboolani @jahaankapoor26 @harshvarrdhankapoor @janhvikapoor @anandahuja." Sonam also shared the group picture featuring the present generation and wrote, "Khaandaan for the #गोधभराईं of @antara_m missing @janhvikapoor @aashitarelan16 @harshvarrdhankapoor @jahaankapoor26 we love you #antumoh."

On the 19th of August, every year people across the globe observe World Humanitarian Day. Many shared special posts on this day to place the spotlight on those who have been deprived of their basic rights and living a life of endless struggle. Bollywood-cum-Hollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, also known for her philanthropy work, shared a post on Instagram calling for urgent action for countries like Afghanistan, Yemen, Lebanon and others. 

In her post, Priyanka shared the definition of humanitarian and explained how the smallest of efforts towards solving crises that have shaped in places like Greece, Turkey and Haiti can help.

A part of her post read: "But, it can no longer be only about them—each and every one of us has to make an effort. Kindness and empathy for our fellow beings is the need of the hour. We need to reach out and support in whatever way we can. Looking at everything going on around the world right now, humanitarian aid is the need of the hour. It starts with just one... with intent and effort... to change the world." 

PeeCee, along with the long textual post, also shared heartbreaking visuals of those who are affected. For the Taliban acquired Afghanistan, Priyanka shared a photo of young kids holding their mothers' hands and escaping from a particular location. In the caption, the Text For You actress used the hashtag World Humanitarian Day and accompanied it with a heart emoji. 

Priyanka, apart from a successful acting career, also indulges in philanthropic projects. Recently, she raised Rs 25 crore for the COVID-19 fundraiser to help India battle the ongoing crisis. She had been a part of the fundraiser actively alongside her husband and music composer Nick Jonas.

Actor Kareena Kapoor Khan shared the first full family picture along with her newborn son Jeh Ali Khan on Monday. Taking to Instagram, Kareena dropped a post also featuring her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan and their other son Taimur.

Kareena Kapoor Khan also wished Saif Ali Khan as he rang in his 51st birthday. Sharing the pictures, Kareena wrote, "Happy Birthday to the love of my life... To eternity and beyond with you is all I want."

In the first picture, the family is seen enjoying their time sitting by a pool. While Saif wore a white kurta-pyjama, Kareena opted for a multi-colour dress. Taimur posed for the camera in ethnic wear while Jeh was lying next to the couple in a green onesie. 

In the second photo, Kareena and Saif were in a pool as they looked towards the ocean.

Taking to the comments section, Malaika Arora wrote, "Happy birthday my dear Saifu" while Amrita Arora dropped a bunch of red heart emojis. Saif's sister Saba Ali Khan commented, "Happy Birthday Bhai. Lots of love and hugs. Stay safe and have a suuupppaaaah one."
