As per the Hurun Research Report, 10 Indian families hold a wealth of INR 11,08,500 crores in total. Hailing from different industry backgrounds, these families have been able to amass a huge wealth that has captured a place among the top 10 wealthiest families in India. Here is an overview of the total net worth of these families along with their background.


India has witnessed an increase in the number of billionaires in the last couple of years. Many industrialists have reported a drastic jump in their wealth.


With that, we bring you a list of 10 wealthiest families in India.


10. Wadia Family



Nusli Wadia’s sons Ness and Jehangir sit on the board of popular food company Britannia Industries. Other companies controlled by this family are Bombay Dyeing and budget airline GoAir.
